Update 26/11/20

We are delighted to announce that we will be re-opening on Wednesday 2nd December.

Changing rooms will be re-opened on a ‘one-in one-out’ basis and group exercise classes will be limited to 8 people.

Direct debits will be restarted on 5th December.

November 2020 Update

Unfortunately we have to confirm that our doors will be closing for the next month from Thursday until December 2nd.

We have frozen all direct debit memberships for the month of November, but some payments will already have been processed, so if you have missed the freeze cut-off, your December payment will be skipped to compensate for this.

All active annual memberships will be extended by a month to cover the closure too.

We are very hopeful that we will see you all in a month’s time, so keep up your training and be ready to hit December hard! If you’d like to donate to our charity during this difficult time, we’d really appreciate your help, and you can find out more here.

  • Reduced numbers in classes (1 class per person per day)

How can you help us?

  • By adhering to social distancing guidelines.
  • By cleaning your equipment before and after use.
  • Bring your own water bottle, towel and mat (if appropriate).
  • By arriving and leaving in your gym kit.

Yes! We are very lucky that we have a HUGE space and so we have just been more canny in the way we have laid it out. You will particularly notice the difference upstairs. Cardio machines have been staggered and we have made better use of the space. Downstairs each bench has its own defined area.

We are still waiting for confirmation from the Government, but we think we will be able to use it with reduced numbers (on a HIIT class for example). We can all help by cleaning it before and after use.

We are very lucky because we have a VERY large space. Even at our busiest times we never reached capacity. So we have reduced the number of people that we can allow in, but we think it is highly unlikely we will even reach this reduced number. We will be constantly monitoring the situation and if necessary, we will reassess. 

We have reduced the capacity in line with the government’s guidelines. However, because we are so lucky with the amount of space we have, we don’t believe we will reach capacity, even at our busiest times.

Our busiest times are between 5pm and 7.15pm Monday to Wednesday. Our quietest times are weekends and weekday day times. 

When the government says we are allowed to open, we will then set an opening date. We will then email you to confirm the date when your Direct Debit (or Annual Membership) will restart.

Yes, you can continue to freeze your membership for up to 3 months. Please keep an eye out for an email from Harlands with instructions on how to do this.

Absolutely! Our staff have had Covid-19 training and will be able to provide socially-distanced personalised training.

Yes we will. There may be a few adaptations to keep you safe, like reduced numbers, but we will be running classes which you will still be able to book via the App. We will update the class timetable as soon as we have confirmation. It is likely that we will start classes towards the end of w/c 27th August.

Initially they won’t be open (we are taking guidance from the government). Therefore we would ask that you arrive and leave in your kit. We hope that this situation will change though.

Yes, please only use the fountains to fill up your water, not for face-to-tap contact.

Yes, they will be available. We just ask that you sanitise them before and after use.
