How do I enter the gym?
If it’s your first time to Our Gym, just come to reception with your membership details and we will give you a key fob. You can then use the key fob to access Our Gym during opening hours.
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely. We have one day passes available to purchase on our website.
What should I wear?
Please wear clothing appropriate to a gym environment (no denim). Clean trainers should also be worn.
How do I book onto a class?
Simply log on to your account, and click ‘Book a class’. This will be completed when we have had training on membr.
How do I cancel a class booking?
Just log on to your account, go to class bookings, and click cancel. This will be completed when we have had training on membr.
Where can I shower?
We have free showers available in our changing rooms on the ground floor.
What is the minimum age to join Our Gym?
Are there any student / group / corporate discounts available?
Because we offer such good value memberships, unfortunately there are no other discounted memberships available.
Do I get anything for referring a friend or family member?
If a friend or family member join as a result of you referring them then you get a FREE 30-minute Personal Training session. It’s easy to set up, all you have to do is get your friends/family to enter your referral code (this can be found on the left hand side of your Membr account under your profile picture) when they sign up to join Our Gym.
Are there any lockers?
Yes there are. They cost 20p (non-refundable).
Do I have to have an induction?
We would recommend that you have a group induction that is free of charge.
Can I put my membership on hold if I am going on holiday, working away from home or am ill?
You can freeze your membership for a cost of £5 per month.
What notice do I need to give if I want to leave?
You can cancel at any time. Your membership will expire immediately, however please be aware that if it is within 5 days of your next due payment, the payment will still be taken.

Can I use the Sportspace gyms as part of my membership?
Unfortunately this is not possible, but if you would like a tour of the Sportspace gym, please call 01442 507100 and ask to speak to the membership team.
How do I book a Personal Training session?
Feel free to either chat to one of our trainers in Our Gym, someone on reception, or you can call them directly from the numbers on the website.
Can I park my car for free?
Yes, it is free of charge for up to 3 hours. Unfortunately if you stay longer than 3 hours, you may receive a parking ticket.
